The People Behind Our Electrical Work
Mark Evans Electrical has always been built around reliability, high standards and personal service. From the first phone call to the final certification, our team works hard to make every job feel organised, clear and professionally handled.
We specialise in house rewiring, consumer units, EICRs, electrical upgrades, lighting, garden lighting, kitchen and bathroom electrics, burglar alarms and smoke alarms.

Meet Mark, Owner & Founder
Mark started the business in 1992 after being inspired by an electrician he knew through a youth club. He admired the lifestyle, the van, the practical work and the sense of happiness that came with the trade. That early impression helped shape a career that has now lasted more than three decades.
Today, Mark still enjoys seeing an enquiry through from the first conversation to the finished project. One of the best parts of the job for him is hearing great feedback about the team and the quality of their work.
Outside work, Mark enjoys Bath rugby, Bristol Rovers, fishing, camping in the VW, paddle boarding and making people laugh, especially on April Fools’ Day.
Meet Nicky, Office Manager
Nicky has been with Mark Evans Electrical from the very beginning and plays a key role in keeping everything organised behind the scenes.
She helps make sure customers are supported, communication runs smoothly and the team stays on track. Nicky works hard, values punctuality and does not like being late.
Away from work, she enjoys holidays, gardening, working hard, playing hard and spending time with her new grandson.
Meet Adam, Electrician
Adam joined the business in September 2000 and has been part of the team for many years.
He enjoys family time, soft play days, football and watching Pucklechurch, where he is chairman. He also enjoys a good night out with the boys, a fancy brunch with his wife, coffee, food and a proper burger.
One thing Adam definitely does not like is Bristol Rovers.
Meet Danny, Electrician
Danny joined Mark Evans Electrical in 2006 and brings years of hands-on experience to the team.
He enjoys watching and playing sport, especially cricket, football and padel. He plays cricket for Frenchay and supports Chelsea.
Danny’s dislikes are clear and specific, ketchup and baked beans.
Meet George, Electrician’s Mate
George joined the business in 2008 and is another familiar face within the team.
Outside work, he enjoys coaching Kingswood Rugby Club under 7s, spending time with his family and taking the kids out on bike rides.
George likes F1, Chinese food and a good pint of Guinness. He dislikes cheese on toast and, unlike Mark, April Fools’ Day.
Meet Jake, Apprentice
Jake joined Mark Evans Electrical in 2023 as an apprentice.
In his spare time, he creates a large-scale Christmas light display for charity and in memory of his sister, who passed away in 2015. He has also met the Queen.
Jake loves football, hot chocolate and the TLH Derwent Hotel. He dislikes tea and coffee.
